CSA
Good Clean Farm’s CSA program is now open for registration for the 2026 season!
Subscriptions are 10% off this year thanks to the NS Loyal CSA Incentive Program.
What is CSA?
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a system where farm customers purchase their share of the farm’s crops at the beginning of the growing season. This allows your farmers to better plan their crops, and provides income early in the spring when we need it most to get the season started. It is a great way for customers to connect to local agriculture, ensure there are always veggies in your kitchen, and guarantee you’ll get the best of whatever’s in season!
Our CSA is the traditional style, “farmers-choice” box, where we are selecting the produce you will receive each week. This makes crop planning for us easier, and reduces the amount of produce that is wasted on the farm. It allows us to grow more niche or uncommon produce, knowing it will have somewhere to go. It is a great way for customers to get aquainted with vegetables that they might not know very well, since we provide recipes and ideas for how to use our produce each week. It’s also a great option if you don’t want to make a shopping list each week, and want us to choose for you!
Being a member of the farm means we are taking you along for the ride, whatever the season brings. If we are having a tough year, or a lower yield on a certain crop, we will prioritize getting the best of what we have to our members first, before stocking our market stands. If we are having a good year or a particularly successuful crop, our members will get to share in the excess, with extra produce added to your boxes.
What will you get?
Each week from mid-June until mid-October, Good Clean Farm CSA customers will receive a box of vegetables that represents what is currently in season at Good Clean Farm. You will also receive an email each week with information about the produce in your box, recipe ideas, and farm news.
We offer two share size options:
Regular Share - $425/season (around $25 worth of produce each week)
Large Share - $600/season (around $35 worth of produce each week)
The photos below show examples of regular share boxes from June (left), August (middle) and October (right).
